ALICIA MAE GREATOREX

Alicia joined Uttoxeter Juniors U7’s after patiently waiting to join from the age of 4. During that first season she played on the left wing and in goal, but it was as a Goal Keeper where her real passion and talent was to flourish for everyone to see. It was during this period that she was first described as having natural talent which was feedback that she was continually about to receive throughout her career. Her journey from U7 Juniors to the U16s GK for Aston Villa Women's academy has been remarkable with time spent with Burton and Derby along the way. 

In between those 2 professional clubs, Alicia’s team AFC Vixens won the Derby league an incredible 3 times in a row and still remains a club close to her heart. 

Throughout, Alicia has shown buckets of persistence and resilience when taking on new challenges, all centred around her love and passion for football.

Uttoxeter Juniors are immensely proud of what she has already achieved and what she will undoubtedly do both on and off the field as an amazing ambassador for girls football. We are really excited to have the opportunity to support Alicia achieve her qualifications and ambitions as she is already really inspirational to us.
